Edible Balloons? A food fantasy in Chicago.

Recently I was watching “The Final Table” on Netflix, when I first heard of this unique food concept. Eating balloons!

Yes, you read that right.

At the 3 star Michelin restaurant called Alinea in Chicago, you can indulge in a green apple taffy balloon that will bring back fond childhood memories. This creation which stunned the culinary world, was conceptualized and executed by renowned chefs: Grant Achatz and Mike Bagale.

It is a restaurant at which they break conventional boundaries and aspire to provide a dining experience like no other. No wonder it has been listed in the top 50 restaurants of the world!
